History has been made as Bahrain has recognized Khan Do Kwan officially as a martial art in that country. Bahrain is the first country in the world to do so. Grand Master Khan reached Bahrain on the 19th of Feb 2006 and was received by students and Vice President of The World Khan do Kwan Federation (Middle East) Master Ashraf Ali Ghansar at the airport.
The next day after a series of meetings and interviews with the local newspapers Grand Master Khan was invited by the Bahraini Taekwondo National team and their Master, Master Lohe Khatib to conduct a training session for their National Taekwondo students and competitors. Along with taekwondo training, Grand Master Khan also explained to them Khan do Kwan concepts which impressed and fascinated them.
